AUBURN, Ala. – The SummerNight committee is gearing up for the 20th annual SummerNight Downtown Art Walk, and applications are now open. This year’s art walk will take place on Friday, June 5, from 6 p.m.–10 p.m. This vibrant arts festival transforms downtown Auburn into a lively arts district, highlighting local and regional artists, live music, delicious food and fun activities for kids.

Each year this event is hosted by the City of Auburn, Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center, Auburn Arts Association, Auburn Downtown Merchants Association and St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church to celebrate our community’s talented artists while promoting the unique charm of downtown Auburn.

Artists, local businesses, volunteers and culinary artists are invited to participate! Registration begins Monday, March 2. Follow the registration link at auburnsummernight.org or visit auburnal.myrec.com. Vendor application deadline is Friday, May 22.

This year, we are embracing the boat life with a yacht rock theme – and we want culinary artists to join the fun. Enter the annual Culinary Contest with your favorite boat snack for a chance to showcase your culinary creativity. There is no entry fee, and all submissions must be homemade. A panel of judges will choose the most impressive creations, with winners announced live from the SummerNight main stage during the Art Walk. Culinary application deadline is Friday, June 5, at 11 a.m.
